We gather every Shabbat and on many other occasions to find, each in our own way, spiritual connections and answers. Services also feature the music of our heritage, sometimes featuring the CBSRZ choir, other times–Chanukah and Simchat Torah, for example–our klezmer band, A Klez Act. What follows is a list of regular worship services, as well as services scheduled for holidays and/or festivals.
Worshipping with Music and Our Choir
At our synagogue, music plays an important part of in our worship. The mellifluous sounds of our cantorial soloist, our choir and the congregation in song greatly enhance our services.
Our talented Choir Director, Meg Gister, encourages those who enjoy singing and liturgical music to join the choir. The choir sings at Friday night services on the third Friday of the month and on holidays. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. To learn more, contact Meg Gister at choir@cbsrz.org.
